- Zero-knowledge encryption — Not even we can read your journal

This Website (ekoche.com)
- We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Meta Pixel
- These tools may set cookies and track browsing behavior on this site
- This helps us reach people who need quiet software in a loud world
- Your app data is never connected to website data (separate systems by design)
Why the Difference?
Our website is like a bookstore lobby (we count foot traffic to optimize store hours). Our Sanctuary apps are like the journals you buy (we never read what you write inside). The privacy promise applies to the products, not the storefront.
What We Collect
From apps: Nothing — current app versions collect zero data. A future update will add optional, anonymous analytics (opt-in only). We will update this page and our privacy policies before that update ships.
From website: Standard web analytics (pages visited, time on site, referral sources)
Third-Party Services
- Google Analytics 4 — website analytics only
- Meta Pixel — website only, for Facebook/Instagram ad optimization
- CloudKit — Drift only, for optional cross-device sync (end-to-end encrypted)
- Apple StoreKit — in-app purchases, processed by Apple (Ekoche never receives payment data)
- Firebase Analytics — planned for a future app update, not currently active
Your Rights
You own your data. We can't sell your data because we don't have it. Your app content stays on your device. Current app versions make zero data network calls. That's not marketing — it's our architecture. See our Transparency page for the full breakdown.
